**Regarding our constant growth, we are looking for a treasury assistant in the headquarter office of Madrid.**

**Job duties**:

- Processing treasury payments, invoices collections, and managing daily cash though the Store Managers.
- Maintaining financial records accurately.
- Updating the treasury position taking into account all movements recorded in the bank statements on monthly basis and the forecast estimated for incomes, CAPEX, OPEX, etc.
- Preparing the cash flow monthly to estimate the cash that could be reinvest in the businesses with low level of risk.
- Reconciling bank deposits and bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Assisting the Accounting Manager and the CFO.
- Helping the CFO to ensure the financial soundness.
- Liaising with accounts payable.
- Using logs and spreadsheets.

**Technical Skills and Requirements**:

- Prepare and communicate daily banking activity reports.
- Assist the CFO with the company’s treasury activities.
- Assist with the physical counting of cash.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with cash transactions.
- Document all cash transactions for each day.
- Reconcile bank deposits and payments.
- Maintain financial records, cash logs, and spreadsheets.
- Process treasury payments.
- Previous experience working as a Treasury Assistant or controller could be interesting.
- Proficient with bookkeeping and accounting.
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Advanced written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills (Office 365, etc).
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.

**Job brief**:
**Job duties**:

- Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
- Ability to create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
- Presenting data to the Accounting Managers, Agencies and CFO.
- Assist the Accounting Manager and the CFO when required.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
- Assisting management in the decision-making process by helping the treasury assistant to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.

**Technical Skills and Requirements**:

- Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies with accounting transactions.
- Document all accounting transactions for each day.
- Reconcile accounts with external information.
- Maintain updated financial records and spreadsheets.
- Previous experience working as an Accountant is a plus.
- Proficient with bookkeeping and accounting.
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Advanced written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills (Office 365, etc).
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
