Consulting & Engineering Director

At OCA Global Consulting we are growing and we are looking for a Consulting & Engineering Manager (located preferably in Madrid).

**Functions and responsibilities**:
The main responsibility will be managing a team of consultants and engineers providing global consulting, technical advisory and owner’s engineering services to project developers, projects owners and financing institutions in all project phases: project development, design, construction and commissioning for Renewable Energy projects and for all kind of technologies and related infrastructures (Solar (PV, CSP and FPV), Wind, Biomass, Hydro, BESS, Hybridization, Green hydrogen and Transmission/Distribution Systems), including the following tasks:

- Preparation and implementation of Business Unit growth strategy in the EU and at a global level,
- Technical Management of activities,
- Provision of reporting to management,
- Team Management and Recruiting,
- Key Account Management with Strategic Clients,
- Commercial support to the Business Development Director.

**Work location**
- Spain (preferable Madrid area),
- Travelling and short term stays on project sites in the EU and worldwide would be required on a project-by-project case.

**Education & Requirements**:

- BsC in Engineering or equivalent,
- MSC in Renewable Energy would be favourably considered,
- Minimum 5 years’ experience (ideally more than 8 years) in similar positions and with practical experience in the functions and responsibilities described above,
- Experience in Renewable Energy Markets,
- Experience in running clients and contracts portfolios,
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams,
- Experience in EMEA and LATAM regions are an advantage,
- English and Spanish: Native or full professional proficiency,
- French and/or Arabic would be favourably considered.
