**What do we do?** We are a digital transport operator focusing on optimizing long-hauling in Europe. Thanks to our driver relay system that allows multiple drivers to switch between each other, we are improving the standard of trucking.
**Who are we?** We are a team of young professionals who come from different backgrounds (strategy consulting, sales, tech) and who have a clear mission: we want to create collaboration in the trucking industry to achieve a future where people live better and resources are used more efficiently.
**Where are we?** We are based in Madrid, although we have a global scope. We have operations in Spain, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, the UK and France.
Our vision is to move the world's road freight in relays to accelerate the electrification agenda and improve drivers' life.
**Your Mission at Trucksters**
As the Quality, Safety, and Environment Director at Trucksters, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability in our international road transport operations. Your leadership will be essential in developing and executing strategies that uphold regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and mínimal environmental impact. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, establish KPI’s, and foster a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
**Specific responsibilities for this role include**:
- Lead the implementation, deployment, and oversight of Trucksters' Quality, Safety, and Environment initiatives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Quality, Safety, and Environment strategy tailored to Trucksters' unique culture and operational needs.
- Provide training and guidance to Trucksters' leadership team on effective Quality, Safety, and Environment practices, including audits and observations.
- Establish and communicate Trucksters' procedures and standards for quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Consolidate, analyze, and report on key performance indicators related to quality, safety, and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments for new transportation routes, equipment, and processes, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Coordinate regular safety meetings and incident follow-up sessions with the leadership team. Audit Trucksters' operations to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards, promoting best practices.
- Utilize data analysis to generate reports and insights that contribute to ongoing operational enhancement.
- Participate in the definition and management of the Quality, Safety, and Environment budget.
- University degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Industrial Safety, or another related field.
- Previous experience in leadership positions in areas of quality, safety, and the environment, preferably in the road transport sector.
- Solid knowledge of local and international safety and environmental regulations.
- Analytical skills to identify problems and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in audit management and certification processes will be positively valued.
- Advanced level of English language proficiency, due to the international nature of transportation.
