- While all Animation studios look to hire people who are creative and hard-working, Skydance Animation is specifically looking for pioneers who seek to push the limits of what the world’s most collaborative art form can achieve, and to give those pioneers the space and the resources to build a new studio that’s doing something different.As
**Environment Senior Modeling Artist**, you will be involved in many aspects of the look, working in coordination with the production designer and Art department to deliver a visually impressive look. You will be asked to help guide this process. Your substantial experience will highlight and avoid potential problems early and also reveal opportunities for efficiency and increased quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Modeling utilizing photography and pre-existing models.
- Modeling from concepts following the look of the show.
- Ability to create, adapt, and iterate, within a variety of artistic styles.
- Expertise in architectural modeling and in procedural methodologies and repetitive patterns.
- Ability to properly research and work independently in absence of concept art.
- Knowledge of procedural systems, technical constraints, and optimization of models.
- Works together with the team providing them with support, guidance, and instruction in areas that contribute to their artistic and professional growth.
- Follows supervisor’s and lead's guidance.
- Keep up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company, in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
- Guide and mentor other team members.

**Requirements**:

- Over 4 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries.
- At least 3 years of experience in the animation industry.
- Extensive experience with Maya.
- Extensive experience with Arnold render.
- Experience with traditional drawing, and/or painting is a plus.
- Experience in Real-Time engines, is a big plus.
- High English level desirable.
