- We’re an Enterprise Network Operator (ENO). At Pod, we go beyond traditional connectivity providers to offer unique, customized IoT solutions designed to give enterprises, both large and small, ownership and control of their connectivity, from the IoT SIM card right up to a complete private network. As an ENO, we operate our own core network, including a private LTE/5G core which enables us to provide managed connectivity services (Network as a Service - NaaS) on both public and private spectrum.
- The Global Carrier and Deal Manager is responsible for effectively managing the key relationships with MNOs with a focus on creating and implementing successful partnership strategies, maintaining
- competitive pricing, and proactively organizing QBRs with our carrier partners. The role will also include the management of our internal price book and working closely with the global sales team to
- create any one-off commercial models where required.
- **Responsibilities of this role include**:

- Develop strategic relationships with Carrier partners to ensure competitive connectivity pricing.
- Ensure all contracts support the company's objectives and drive overall value for money.
- Work with Carriers to address any customer concerns and issues relating to connectivity and service delivery, escalating to senior contact and management when needed
- Work with the Product Strategy team to support the strategy of MNO selection to provide ongoing coverage improvements and localisation.
- Work closely with the sales team and provide support for special pricing/service requests to ensure wherever possible positive engagement and support from carrier partners, helping to
maximize the company’smargins and win new business.
- Provide detailed statistics on the performance of services to the executive staff. Work closely with the various stakeholders (Executive, Engineering, Development, Product Marketing,
Customer Support, Sales, and Finance) to maintain, manage, monitor, and enhance the various systems supporting all aspects of the business
- Maintain, update, and improve the internal pricing guide to enable sales to quickly turnaround quotes and win new customers.
- Work closely with Product to source a supply of services required to continually improve and enhance our products and provide differentiation within the market.
- Understand and maintain the relationship between pricing and billing/management systems making changes where necessary to ensure all accurate sales and billing.
- Interface between departments, while reporting to an executive that may not be fully involved in the tasks, with the ability to work independently and provide clear summary reporting
- Manage monthly carrier invoice reconciliations and approvals alongside the finance team and operations, to ensure maximum margin. Working with carrier partners to resolve issues
or disputes in invoice amounts.
- Support the project management for onboarding new carrier partnerships and eSIM profiles, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and delivery within agreed timescales
- Maintain database of global network sunsets, provide regular communications and work closely with sales to develop strategies with customers to plan effective transition from 2G/3G technologies to LTE & LPWAN technologies.
- Update sunset and LPWAN availability database regularly and share with the sales team.

**Skills, Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Extensive experience with Telecom and/or IOT (Internet of Things) industry
- Experience in management level commercial negotiation and pricing management
- Strong technical understanding of network operations and MVNO products/services
- Excellent project management skill
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to deal at all levels across the business
- Strong management, strategic thinking, and planning skills
- Strong analytical and excel spreadsheet skills
- Excellent oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work closely with others and communicate effectively
- Ability to multi-task effectively and within tight time constraints
- Ability to work unsupervised, relaying important information to various project stakeholders
- Ability to travel as the business calls
