BayWa r.e. Solar Systems SLU is a leading PV wholesale business, responsible for Spain and Portugal. Internationally, BayWa r.e.’s PV wholesale business operates in Europe, North and Central America as well as the APAC region. In the Iberian market, we carry a wide range of high-quality products in our portfolio, have strategic global framework agreements with most leading brands and have a proprietary mounting system (novotegra) and design tool solution (Solar Planit).

**What you will do**:

- Accounting and controlling team management, weekly & monthly meetings to monitor KPIs.
- Credit management: Managing credit insurance for customers, monitoring days of collection (DSO) and days of payment (DPO).
- Support in the annual review of Business Plan and other annual/monthly controlling reports.
- Management support for monthly closing process and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
- Respect deadlines for requested accounting & controlling tasks.
- Management support for monthly VAT declaration and other taxes.
- Ensure that financial transactions are recorded correctly. Detect errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency.
- Accounts explanation - resolve any problems/queries.
- **Liquidity management**: Forecast future liquidity needs, proposals to solve them and management of solutions already implemented such as Factoring and C-flox.

**What you bring**:

- At least 3 years of work experience as a supervisor of finance teams, general accounting or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or similar.
- Good knowledge of Spanish tax procedures.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
- Hands-on and able to work independently.
- Experience in liquidity management, implementation and monitoring of improvement solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Power Point).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
