Quality Engineer

From the Almussafes plant we need to fill the position of a Quality Engineer:
MISSION

To ensure that the products comply with the specifications at all times and throughout the life of the projects, focusing on the prevention of defects and acting efficiently in the event of deviations that may arise both internally and externally (Almussafes Plant).

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Be the main contact with the client in terms of Quality for assigned projects, attending them in an agile and assertive way, always ensuring their satisfaction.

Monitor and maintain updated information on assigned client portals, taking action when deviations occur or when negative trends are identified.

Lead the Troubleshooting process both for deviations detected by customers and for those detected internally for assigned projects.

Participate in relevant phases during the APQP process for assigned projects.

Collaborate in the analysis of the results and trends of the KPIs assigned to the area in order to establish the relevant actions.

Have a strong interaction with the Quality Technicians to ensure that their level of training is adequate with respect to product and customer requirements and to resolve any doubts that may arise during the manufacturing process.

Support other areas of the company with product quality issues on assigned projects and influence these areas to ensure that they remain committed to meeting product and quality management system requirements.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Engineering training

High level of English

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a company in the automotive sector, preferably in mass / batch manufacturing companies.

Knowledge of problem solving methodology according to 8D methodology.

Knowledge in Core Tools APQP (Control Plan), FMEA, MSA and SPC and PPAP. Certified training in these areas is desirable.

Desirable knowledge of welding/stamping processes.
