A position as Structural Designer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space.
Perform product definition with 3DEXperience, team working with an AGILE methodology, adding value developing the Structural Design solutions and also troubleshooting in production and in service issues.
The main activities of a Structural Design Engineer are related with:
- Design and Validation of composites/metallic components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while the highest safety of the Product is assured.
- Structural definition and architecture of Airframe components.
- Components Documentation for Manufacturing and mechanical assembling.
- Planning and follow up of structural design deliverables.
- Components Specification for purchasing.
- Interfacing with external customers, partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and Project follow-up meetings.

**Required skills**
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Industrial (Mechanics)
- **7 to 10 or more years of professional experience as Aerospace Structural Designer.**:
- Experience with composite structures.
- Knowledge and experience in CATIA, 3DEx CAD Design and in PDM/PLM tools. and product configuration methods and processes.
- Usual back office tools (use of MS Office, Google tools is required).
- Abilities to accept Design Delegation as designer and design approver.
- Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player.
- Committed in your own development to learn new skills.
- Pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Good communication skills.
- Agility to incorporate changes and collaborate in multidisciplinary team.
- Listening and communication skills.
- English: Negotiation level.
- Spanish: Negotiation level.
