In Axpo Iberia we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Quantitative Risk Analyst to further advance their skills and career in a great working environment. **What you will do**:

- You will interact confidently with other risk teams, front office, IT and control groups in order to implement improvements to the risk models and to support any related production processes
- You will liaise with the Swiss Risk Analysis team in Baden to optimize consistency in data flows.
- You will improve on current processes in the risk department with regards to Business Intelligence, Optimization, Big data, and Machine Learning by utilizing advanced analytics
- You will be responsible for model monitoring, validation and for producing model results

**What you bring & who you are**:

- You have a University Degree with background in quantitative finance or an equivalent diploma such as Mathematics, Statistics or similar
- Educational background in FRM/ERP, CQF, CFA, Master in Finance ETH or similar would be an advantage
- You have an interest in learning about pricing and valuation of complex and structured deals
- You have an interest in learning about quantitative methods for market and credit risk management
- You have an interest in learning about financial and commodity markets in the power, gas and green energy trading environments
- You have programming skills for prototyping and ad-hoc solutions
- You have the ability to absorb new concepts quickly and solve problems efficiently
- You are a team player with good communication and self-management skills
- You are fluent in English
