Your Role and Responsibilities
- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. - Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that helps them reach true business value by working thru the phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration and product support with a sense of urgency.
- Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing agile plans where you are responsible for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations.
- Technical Solution Workshops: Conducting and participating in technical solution workshops.
- Building Effective Relationships: Developing successful relationships at all levels —from engineers to CxOs—with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach healthy resolutions.
- Self-Motivated Problem Solver: Demonstrating a natural bias towards self-motivation, curiosity, initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills as you work across the client, partner, and IBM team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

IBM Infrastructure Solutions Expertise: IBM Technology Expert Labs is looking for several positions, with expertice in the following areas: Storage, zSystems and IBM i / Power.

If you have experience in any of the areas listed avobe, this is a good opportunity to join the IBM Technology Expert Labs team.

The knowledge for those areas are:
[Storage Delivery Consultant]

Required:

- Strong Linux/Unix skills with experience in OS system administration, Storage Volume management, debugging, package manager (rpm and dpkg), user management, OS based permissions.
- Experience with NAS based solutions
- Experience managing Broadcom or Cisco SAN solutions
- Strong IP networking knowledge, from a concept point of view, like switching, routing, firewalls, proxy, vlan managing, etc. (hands-on experience is not required).
- Fluent in english.

[zSystems Delivery Consultant]

Required:

- Fluent in english.

Optional:

- z/VM & zSecurity, RACF, Sysplex, DB2 plex, z/VM system programming & Linux on z Systems administration

[IBM i / Power Delivery Consultant]

Required:

- At least, one year hands on experience managing IBM i or Power AIX/Linux solutions.
- Experience with HMC console
- Strong IP networking knowledge

Optional:

- Experience with VIOS setup
- Experience managing PowerVM
- Experience with LPAR definitions
- Experience with OS and Firmware upgrades
- Experience with PowerHA
- Experience with PowerVC
- Fluent in english
