**Responsibilities**
- Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts between the company and client entities (both private and public, with 40% to 50% of billing related to the public sector).
- Working autonomously to provide advice to commercial and operational stakeholders across the region.
- Reviewing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with client entities and collaborating with the operations team to ensure adherence to established agreements.
- Assessing clauses pertaining to compliance with data protection laws and collaborating with the operations team to meet organisational requirements.
- Horizon scanning for changes in local laws and regulations which may impact the business and/or operations of Anthesis.
- Providing timely responses to internal inquiries through the ticketing system.
- Collaborating with the Operations Director, Management System Manager and General Counsel to implement a Compliance system ensuring organizational regulatory compliance through established procedures.
- Coordinating with external lawyers when necessary.
- Ensure coordination at Group level and escalating matters to the General Counsel, as necessary.

**Job features**
- Your contract **will be permanent**.
- You will work full-time (40h/week) with a flexible schedule: you can start from Monday to Thursday between 7:30 am and 9 am and finish between 4:30 pm and 6 pm (depending on the lunch break - between 30 and 60 minutes), and on Fridays, your working hours will be intensive, from 8 am to 3 pm.
- Our working model is **hybrid and flexible**; you will enjoy the benefits of both telecommuting and working at our facilities in Barcelona or Manlleu.

**Profile**

To successfully develop the job, we are looking for someone who brings the following **knowledge**, **experience**, **and competencies** to the team.

**Education and key knowledge**:
University degree in Law.
- Master's, Postgraduate, or specific training in Compliance and/or knowledge of Compliance systems will be valued.
- Languages: Catalan C1, Spanish C1 and English (C1).

**Required professional experience as follows**
- 5 years’ experience (post-qualification) working as a lawyer, ideally in-house.
- Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills are essential (for both national and international contracts)
- Excellent knowledge of Spanish and Catalan commercial laws, including but not limited to: Spanish Public Procurement Law (contracting procedures, types of public contracts, evaluation criteria, awarding and formalization of the contract, resources in contracting matters, extensions, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of applicable national and EU personal data protection Laws.
- Knowledge of compliance, corporate ethics, and corporate governance.
