Sponsored projects devoted to developing new performance improvements features, together with presales site specific tailoring of the wind turbines are demanding many load calculations in order to cover the demand.
How to contribute to our vision
- Reviews relevant requirements, standards, and other documentation to clarify and understand converter control requirements.
- Models and simulates DFIG wind turbine converter and generator.
- Designs, modifies and improves the control loops and algorithms.
- Analyses customizations to local requirements and designs/adapts products and solutions accordingly.
- Presents technical findings and developments.
- Writes detailed specifications and design documents of all the converter control algorithms.
- Participates in converter validation to ensure compliance with the design requirements in cooperation with the whole converter design team.
- Adheres to the quality process through the execution of test procedures.
- Cooperates with other engineering teams to support product testing and certifications.
- Cooperates with other teams in the company to support presales, commissioning, aftersales, etc.
- This position may require travel to customer and non-customer sites (20%)
- This position requires presential participation on validation processes on Madrid testbenches
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- You have a BA degree in Engineering - Technical Studies
- Electrical Engineering
