General research activities on practical and applied articles aimed to be published in practitioner-oriented journals. The activities include:
- Preparing a database for the project
- Performing initial statistical analyses of the relevant variables
- Replicating the investment strategies being explored
- Reviewing and commenting on the article prepared
The activities also include
- Periodic updating of the research databases
- Searches for relevant literature for the articles in progress
- Dealing with well-known databases such as Bloomberg, Datastream, Eikon-Reuters, and WRDS (Previous knowledge of them is desirable but not essential; the basics of them can be learned through Library support.)
- Work-permit in Spain.
- BS / BA degree or**Master’s degree.
- High proficiency in English language, especially written. (Most of the work to be done is in English.)
- Interest in conducting applied research in the field of finance.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential. Other quantitative skills and/or coding ability are desirable but not essential.
**Conditions**
**Part-time** position:
4 hours/day (915€ month before tax)
6 hours/day (1.372,5€ / months before tax)
**Start date**
ASAP
**End date**
1 year with the possibility of extending.
