**Your mission**

As the Head of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), you will be the architect of a robust framework that safeguards The Workshops's most critical assets. Your mission is to establish, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive GRC program that mitigates operational, reputational and information security risks, ensures adherence to regulations, and fosters a security mindset across all levels or the organisation. You will be the strategic partner to leadership, providing valuable insights and guidance to navigate today's complex governance and compliance landscape aligned with business objectives.

**What you'll do**

As the Head of GRC, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organisation's reputation, financial stability, and operational efficiency by overseeing our governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) program.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify, analyse, and prioritize potential threats and vulnerabilities that could impact our organisation. Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to reduce the likelihood and impact of these risks.
- Policy Development and Management: Lead the development and ongoing refinement of our company's GRC policies and procedures, ensuring they align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and our organisational objectives. Maintain a centralised repository of all policies and ensure their proper implementation and adherence across all business units.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive security training programs to educate employees about risk management, compliance obligations, and ethical conduct. Foster a culture of compliance by promoting awareness and understanding of our GRC policies and procedures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and ensure our organisation complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Manage and coordinate internal and external audits to demonstrate our commitment to compliance.
- Audit Preparation: Lead the preparation for internal and external audits, including gathering documentation, identifying potential audit findings, and developing remediation plans. Effectively communicate with auditors and ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.

- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role managing a GRC program
- Deep understanding of risk assessment, mitigation, and control frameworks
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective GRC policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate GRC concepts and policies to a diverse audience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex risks
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives
- Passion for promoting compliance and fostering a culture of ethical conduct
