**OB Project Engineering Manager Group Leader (OB PREMs GL)**

**Location**: Madrid

**Purpose**:

- Lead a team of project technical managers, ensuring quality target and repeatable performances. Staff the team and follow-up program/project strategy definition and execution, delivering as per QCD commitments. Identify, generalize and stabilize best practices, proposing deployment Alstom-wide. Lead continuous team improvement, plan trainings and coach the team, nurture skill growth and capitalization. Stand as reference in your domain, for both your team and your peers.
- Deliver solutions for integrating actionable performance metrics, improving process models and data credibility in the progression.
- As a Group Manager, you will interact with all team members, so your communication as well as your motivation skills should be excellent. Ultimately, you should lead by being recognized as a domain authority, committed to achievement.

**Responsibilities**
- Agree and implement with the department head and the peer domain leaders the department guidelines (team profile and skills, growth plans, discipline evolutions in terms of technology, competitiveness,)
- Develop and maintain Métier / domain competences, coaching the team and improving the project engineering performance, always promoting Alstom values to your team.
- Commit and account for the OB Portfolio the Project QCD and engineering project performance, supporting and empowering the PrEMs to succeed in their goals:

- Management of the technical contractual scope of the project up to Customer Acceptance
- Manage the project solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments.
- Lead the complete validation of the project solution and verify the safety case.
- Functionally lead the bid and project engineering team.
- Manage the interfaces with the project core team and other project stakeholders.
- Commit and account for the OB Portfolio Bid Technical Management QCD.
- Prepare and host management reviews.
- Continuously motivate, encourage, evaluate and recognize, train and develop resources, in cooperation with HR, as per approved performance evaluation process and targets
- Collect REX from execution and innovation opportunities to feed Reference Library where applicable and share outcomes at department level.
- Deploy D&IS Process, Methods and Tools in the team, providing feedback for Process reviews
- Manage adequacy between estimated workload and capacity, considering subcontracting & business strategies, report status and issues to department head

**Requirements**:

- English, full proficient use with great communication skills.
- Experience in project/program technical management, with teams in other Regional and Development Centers
- Engineering and processes background
- Experience and understanding in project effort estimation
- Established networking
