**Job offer description**
Graduate student to join the research group of Dr Angel Carcaboso. Mission of the job: to develop a new pharmacological therapy for retinoblastoma, the cancer of the retina, with focus on pharmaceutical innovation and drug delivery.
**Principal functions**
Preclinical evaluation of a new drug, in vitro and in vivo.
Orthotopic mouse xenografts (retina and brain).
Analysis of drugs in biological samples, by HPLC.
Biopharmaceutical and pharmacokinetic evaluation of drugs.
Development of in vitro cell models of ocular physiology.
Study of cellular uptake pathways of a new drug delivery system.
Study of retinal toxicity of a new drug.
