A vacancy for a _Ground Support Equipment Engineer _has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space Service organization. The successful applicant will join MRTT GSE department, located in Getafe (Madrid area)

The MRTT GSE department is in charge of the _identification, design, development and validation on aircraft _of all ground support equipment needed for the operation and maintenance of the aircrafts in the customer operations. Besides, it is responsible for generating the GSEs recommendation lists for the maintenance and on ground operation of the aircraft. Additionally, it also provides technical support to the Customer in the daily use of the GSEs at the Air Bases.

Ground Support Equipment is a key activity for the company as our equipment are used _every day in every aircraft and in all Customers around the world _.

**Main tasks for the development activity**:

- Preparation of GSE recommendations for the Customers, both during offers phases and IPL process. Participation in dedicated meetings and WG with Customers
- Provide technical assistance to the Customers
- Preparation of Technical Specifications and requirements collection
- Technical support to supplier selection
- Design follow-up
- Prototype Manufacturing follow-up
- Validation of the equipment on the aircraft
- Qualification and Compatibility Tests

**Other tasks to be performed**:

- Evaluations (Site Surveys) of the Customer existing capabilities concerning GSE
- Supporting other departments and functions: Services Programs, Program Representatives, Material Services, Procurement, Engineering, Technical Publications, as well as TASSE organization
- AMTAC back office in GSE customer queries
- Support on installation and commissioning of GSEs at customer MOB
- Analysis of A/C modification and the impact on developed GSEs
- Participation in AMUG.

**Usefull skills**:

- **Fluent English/Spanish (oral, written)
- Strong team working with and open mind-set
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Flexibility (work in different environments, ready to travel and work in multinational teams)
- Creativity to come up with new ideas

Young graduate, Airbus Internship will be a plus
