Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
As an Assistant Manager Ecommerce Migrations at adidas you are responsible to help transition the Europe market to adopt new enterprise systems. You will be part of the Digital Operations team and work closely with Product Owners, Tech, and Integration Teams to ensure the migration from the old to the new platform happens seamlessly; without impacting business operations. Your responsibilities will span from learning operations to developing migration requirements and from testing capabilities to measuring the success of the migration. Having attention to detail and being able to troubleshoot and resolve issues with conviction is a big part of being successful in this role.- Key Responsibilities
- Become a technical expert of existing systems, tools, and processes - with a focus on Payment and Promotions - to define future requirements and capabilities
- Support with the development of a comprehensive migration plan including activities, timelines, monitoring, success indicators, and potential contingency measures
- Export, backup, and migrate files and related assets - ensuring data integrity and security
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure all migrated components function as expected on new platform, with no impact on core processes, website functionality and consumer experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors that arise during the migration process
- Monitor and report on operational health; plus against predefined success criteria
- Consistently document learnings and assess new platform / processes to identify vulnerabilities and actively drive improvements (e.g. efficiencies and / or functionality)
- Closely support and ensure a smooth handover of new platform / processes to the respective Digital Operations teams, with no impact on running the business

- Good communication skills - comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various levels
- Hard-Skills- Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
- Expert knowledge of digital IT products and capabilities
- Experience in Smartsheet, JIRA, and / or Confluence is a plus
- Experience in Salesforce, Power BI, and / or MS Excel is a plus
- Fluent in English both verbally and written
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications- University degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, business administration, economics, information technology, computer science or similar discipline
- 2 years of experience in an online consumer-facing high-transaction environment
- Experience in ecommerce platform to platform migrations is a plus
