Within the Production team, reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator is responsible for managing the production of reagents in one or two production activities (e.g. preparation, distribution, packaging, washing, production logistics, etc...), respecting deadlines, procedures, as well as safety and quality standards, using the recording tools provided. The Production Operator also takes part in the service's activity: participating in the incorporation of new arrivals, carrying out safety and environmental visits, etc.
**What will be your mission at bioMérieux?**
- Comply with current quality assurance, environmental and safety regulations. Complete all documents relevant to your workstation along the production line.
- Inform the manager of all anomalies or malfunctions encountered during production operations.
- Ensure first level preventive and curative maintenance tasks.
- Make suggestions to improve the activity, safety, quality, and environment.
- If required, record consumption or stock entries, place orders through the ERP system.
- Be able to regularly propose improvement actions for all processes and procedures.
- Make adjustments to the machine.
- Participate in the training of newcomers by apprenticeship and as such ensure the role of tutor.
- Participate in continuous improvement groups (propose improvements not only for your workstation along the chain, but also for the process). Participate in quality and/or environmental safety visits.
**Who are you?**
- Compulsory Secondary Education.
- Knowledge of the industrial environment.
- Know how to communicate with other departments (Production, Quality Control, Supply Chain, etc...).
- Understand production procedures and processes in various production activities.
- Be able to pass on your skills to ensure the training of newcomers.
- Technical knowledge of machines.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
