Gardener/handyman

PLEASE NOTE - THIS POSITION IS BASED IN SWEDEN

We are looking for an experienced gardener/handyman for a property in Örsundsbro, Sweden (50 mn drive from Stockholm, 25 mn from Upsala or Enköping) to look after our client's estate garden and to carry out general maintenance, handyman and carpentry work around the estate.

You will need to be hands-on and have a good horticultural experience and general gardening, handyman and carpentry experience, such as
- Hedge trimming
- Deadheading and planting duties
- Use and maintenance of machinery
- Tree work etc.

For general maintenance, handyman and carpentry, there will be tasks such as
- Jet washing, leaf blowing,
- Light painting and decorating,
- Changing light bulbs/fixing handles
- Simple carpentry, fence building,
- Clearing the drains,
- Furniture assembly,
- Minor plumbing and generally fixing things around the estate.

Our client is looking for someone energetic with 5+ years of experience working as a Gardener/Handyman and basic carpentry experience, ideally within a private estate, along with excellent contactable references.

To be considered for this role, you must.
- Be eligible to work in Sweden.
- Have excellent contactable references
- Have 5+ years of experience working as a Gardener within a private household
- Possess a clean driving license

This position is 5/7 days a week.

The salary offered is between 2000 and 2500 euro per month

Due to the location and climate, you will be expected to work longer days in the summer (high season) and shorter days in the winter (Low Season).
