**Materials Physics Center (Donostia / San Sebastián)
The **Polymers and Soft Matter (PSM) Group** at CFM is offering a predoctoral position
(1+1+1 years) starting in June 2023 to work with Dr. Armando Maestro, in collaboration with
Dr. Ester Verde, in the synthesis and characterization of biocompatible single-chain
nanoparticles interacting with biomimetic model systems.

The position will be funded by MCIN and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR
- C17.I1, as well as by IKUR Strategy under the collaboration agreement between Ikerbasque
Foundation and DIPC on behalf of the Department of Education of the Basque Government.

Center. The salary will be of 17.398,20 euros during the first year before taxes.

The PSM Group at the Center of Materials Physics addresses fundamental problems related
with the structural and dynamical properties of polymers and soft matter systems. For more

polymeric materials. Expertise in the synthesis of polymeric single chain nanoparticles will
be highly appreciated for this particular position, as well as background in the physical
chemistry of biological membranes.
