Cabin & Cargo Engineer

Cabin & Cargo is a multidisciplinary department which is in charge of equipment/systems, including but not limited to seats, galleys, lavatories, cargo handling and aerial delivery systems, MEDEVAC, mission consoles, etc. We are involved in the A/C life cycle from the very first seconds, discussing top level requirements with the Customer, establishing conceptual designs, performing detailed designs, testing our own products, and leading Certification/Qualification activities in front of the Authorities/Customers. Additionally, support to in-service life of the A/C is widely provided.

**MAIN TASKS/RESPONSABILITIES**:
The applicant will belong to the Cabin & Cargo MRTT team developing the following tasks:

- Analysis and interpretation of Customer requirements
- Preparation of Lay-Out for Passenger Arrangement drawings considering all certification constrains per CS/FAR25
- Creation of conceptual design solutions
- Elaboration of specific design solutions in Catia by means of CSG/Full 3D methodology
- Configuration of modification proposals and its documentation in Sprint.net tool
- Review and approval of documentation/design solutions created by suppliers/subcontractors
- Preparation of procedures and support to lab/ground tests and fit checks of cabin & cargo equipment
- Support to MRTT conversion center
- Support to in-service issues reported by MRTT customers

**APPLICANT QUALIFICATION**
- Degree in aeronautical (preferably) or industrial engineering
- Experience of several years as designer using Catia V5, with knowledge of CSG/full 3D methodology preferably
- Knowledge of Airbus DS procedures and tools
- Languages: Spanish (native) and English (B2 level)
- Ability for team-working, proactivity, and open mind
