A position as Structural Designer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space.

**The main activities of a Structural Design Engineer are related with**:

- Design and Validation of composites/hybrids components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while highest safety of the Product is assured
- Structural definition and architecture of Airframe components
- Components Documentation for Manufacturing and assembling Mechanical
- Planning and follow up of structural design deliverables
- Components Specification for purchasing
- Interfacing with external customers, partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and Project follow-up meetings.

**Required Competences & Skills**:

- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Industrial (Mechanics)
- A minimum of 5 years, desirable 7 to 10 or more, of professional experience as Engineer / Designer on aircraft Structural Design activities
- Experience with composite structures.
- Knowledge and experience in CATIA and PDM/PLM Tools and Configuration methods
- Usual back office tools (use of MS Office is required)
- Abilities to accept Design Delegation
- Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player
- Committed in their own development to learn new skills
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- Good communication skills
- Agility to incorporate changes and collaborate in multidisciplinary team.
- Listening and communication skills
- English: Negotiation level
- Spanish: Negotiation level
