**Your Role**:
As an Engineering Manager, you will head up a talented Storage team of 12 who are responsible for developing and maintaining the company's cloud storage platform which will be used for a well-known cloud hosting provider they have recently acquired. You will be building from the ground up an object store that can scale to 100s of billions of objects for clients whilst providing technical expertise and leadership to your team and translating high level architecture to build a highly usable and scalable storage solution. Scalability is key to this role, and you will need to device innovative solutions that will enable this technology to be rolled out to 20+ data centres around the world.

**Requirements**:
You have a very technical background and experience creating highly scalable microservices in Golang
You have a management background leading technical teams of around 10
You have a track record of delivering reliable and secure software
You have a good understanding of object storage technologies within cloud environments
You have experience designing abstract software architectures
You have excellent leadership and communication skills
