Lighting Assistant

**Lighting Assistant,** you will provide support to the lighting and compositing departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take care of the specific needs that the lighting department may need during the production of the shots.
- Take care of the specific needs that the compositing department may have once the shots have been finished in lighting.
- Manages the versioning of files, final deliverables, and the archiving of projects.
- Create new mattes or AOVs.
- Split scene render layers into extra layers while preserving the shot integrity.
- Render debugging and troubleshooting.
- Check final output renders and updates comp scripts.
- Directly assists all senior and junior artists

**Requirements**:

- Some experience in the animation or VFX industry.
- Knowledge of Animation or VFX workflows.
- Experience working with Maya and being used to working with render layers.
- Arnold and Houdini knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of compositing package Nuke.
- Good understanding of how different render layers get assembled in compositing.
- High English level desirable.
