In the role of Assistant R&D Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within their technology Exploration Unit based in Southern Spain. Your responsibilities will encompass research and development activities focused on telecommunications and deterministic networking.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Assume responsibility for comprehending project requirements, conceiving innovative solutions, strategizing new features, and ensuring the precise execution of developments according to specifications.
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance product performance, efficiency, and design.
- Dive into the latest advancements in Resilient PNT and deterministic technologies, staying at the forefront of industry trends.
- Maintain effective and constant communication with project partners and managers, participating in activities ranging from kick-offs to stakeholder meetings.
- Contribute to internal meetings, crafting comprehensive work plans, overseeing project budgets, and managing personnel efforts.
- Drive the development of key firmware and FPGA elements for various TSN networking prototypes.
- Execute validation processes, creating test benches, simulations, and experimental evaluation strategies to verify prototypes.

**Your Qualifications**:

- Hold a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and dissemination skills in English, with an advanced Cambridge certificate or equivalent speaking proficiency.
- Possess a broad understanding of software engineering and development, including embedded Linux and Linux kernel drivers.
- Exhibit passion, energy, and a high level of motivation to contribute to industrial R&D projects and initiatives.
- Showcase strong teamwork, organizational skills, autonomy, and project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with Xilinx FPGA tools and platforms (Vivado, Vitis, HLS, etc.).
- General comprehension of embedded software development, debugging, FPGA logic design, and verification.
- Proven experience in FPGA logic design (VHDL/Verilog), including test bench implementation, debugging, timing closure, etc
