Indirect Purchasing Commodity Director-viladecavalls

MISSION
Optimize the FICOSA supply chain costs for indirect commodity through the corporate strategy definitions and guarantee its implementation to the local purchasing teams.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Define and update Suppliers' Optimum Panel for indirect purchasing commodity.

Ensure that all commodity supplier assignments are in the Suppliers Optimum Panel framework.

Coordinate the actions needed to reach the costs, timing, sustainability, service and quality objectives.

Supervise and coordinate the negotiation with the commodity suppliers.

Transversalize amongst the countries the best practices of the supplies of his/her Commodity.

Take part in the Purchasing Committees and Suppliers Assignment Committees.

Define all standard methodologies and objectives according to Ficosa Purchasing System,

Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation.

Define and implement the Corporate strategy of his/her Commodity.

Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.

Provide the teams with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.

Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

**Academic background**:
University degree, mainly in Engineering or Business

**Languages**:
Fluent in Spanish & English (spoken & written)

**Experience**:
3 years in similar position or as a Local Purchasing Manager (LPM) or as a Project Manager (PM)
