**Job title**

Embassy Meet and Greet Consultant

**Reports to**

VAC Manager, CIBT, Spain

**Location**

Barcelona / Madrid (1 role in Barcelona and 2 roles in Madrid)

**Working hours**

Full time, Monday to Friday. A minimum 40 hours per week excluding

meal breaks. Flexibility as shift rotation is essential.

**Responsibilities**

Our highly skilled and motivated Specialists act as consultants, tailoring our products and services to the needs of the traveller to ensure their travel experience exceeds all their needs and expectations. Our Specialists will be the face of CIBT to our customers, acting as ambassadors of the brand by delivering service excellence. They have the ability to excite our customers and deliver on the CIBT commitment.
- Expert knowledge of Chinese Visa Applications
- Relaying accurate information from embassies to the office
- Account for passports that are being lodged and collected
- Checking of visa issuance
- Transport valuable and confidential documents such as passports, work permits, birth/marriage certificates
- Build rapport with counter staff at embassies and VAC’s
- Be flexible in shift rotation to create a true sense of team work
- Work closely with other areas across the business to support ongoing improvements
- To undertake all other reasonable duties as requested by the VAC Manager
- Ensure that all required travel documents are returned to the traveller in accordance with their required dates
- Ensure Health and Safety policy is understood and carried out
- To work with professionalism, honesty and integrity maintaining confidentiality
- To treat all colleagues fairly, with respect, impartially and consistency.

**Skills and Experience**

**ESSENTIAL**
- Previous Visa experience
- Proven good written and verbal communication skills
- Good English written and oral skills
- Ability to work the demanding hours required of the role

**DESIRABLE**
- Proven strong analytical ability
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business (or other relevant topic) or equivalent level of qualification
- Multi-lingual
