**Job description**:
**What are we looking for?**:
Within the production department, Under the responsibility of our Technical Director, you are responsible for developing and ensuring the continuous running of our technological infrastructure. You work and collaborate every day with our developers and tech leads to understand and create and ensure the deployments of our projects. You like to implement tools that automates and facilitates your work and the work of other developers.

You define and set up guidelines and processes to improve and maintain DevOps practices to reduce the time between committing a change to a system and the change being placed into normal production, while ensuring high quality.

**Tech environment**:
At Pixel Alliance, we like modern technologies, and we push forward to find the best ones to deliver our clients projects. Our stack uses different technologies depending on the project but mainly we work with these stacks:

- Strapi + VueJS/Nuxt
- Laravel and Livewire
- TailwindCSS
- WordPress (yes, we still love old’ monolithic PHP that powers 40% of the web)

Also, we developed a complete CD/CI process with the help form our sister company Seven Circles to automate the deployment based on Gitlab CI, Docker and Terraform (we like to automate everything). We integrated multiple tools to make the deployments an easy task for everyone. If you speak Ansible, Gitlab, bash, automation, and optimization, we’d love to speak to you.

***Your Objectives**:

- Build, maintain and improve our infrastructure and tools.
- Ensure “infrastructure as a code”
- Maintain a map of the infrastructure.
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Make sure that alerts are pushed to Lead Devs and Project Manager, with risk analysis if possible. Keep track of them (into a ticket management tool for instance).
- Ensure that Lead Devs regularly check indicators available (Logs, Code Quality tools,...)
- Ensure training on monitoring tools.
- Working with tech leads, software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- DevOps tools (how each works and how they work together)
- Servers architecture
- Technical how to (related to DevOps and Ops)
- Incident reports
- DevOps R&D
- Technological watch covering all aspects of the position (Dev, Ops, DevOps, Quality,...)
- Provide a roadmap of evolution regarding DevOps
- Give feedbacks to the rest of the team

***Hard skills (mandatory)**:

- Proficient with git
- Proficient with automation tools (Ansible)
- Proficient with Gitlab CI/CD or other tools
- Servers, infrastructure as code knowledge (Linux, Terraform, RHEL,...)
- Code Quality insurance tools (Sonar, Prettier, ESLint...)
- Proficient with Docker

- You speak fluently in French & English

- You like to learn new technologies and stay curious about what happening in the industry.
- Team spirit and problem-solving attitude

**Nice to have (not mandatory to apply)**:

- Knowledge of deployments in modern web environments (JAMStack, etc )
- Knowledge of Ruby or Python
- Knowledge of at least one Cloud Platform and its services
