**Head of Finance Controlling**

**Finance Area**

VHIR is currently looking for an enthusiastic Head of Finance Controlling. In this role, you will be responsible

for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control within the Finance area

operations.***

The scope of the Area includes, among others, the responsibility of institutional scientific policies, strategic

planning, strategic national and international alliances, supervision of the teaching, communication and

fundraising units, and institution’s knowledge management.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/ADE
- Advanced capacity working with MS Office and IT tools
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English

Specific/Additional training in finance controlling

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 3 years of experience working in Controlling positions
- Knowledge of public budgets and foundations
- Experience in taxes (303/111/349//216 )

At least 5 years of experience in public research foundations

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Preparation and control of the company’s budget/forecast and analysis of deviations.
- Reviewing of cost accounting data and developing of P&L cost account for departments
- Providing for a system of economic reporting and KPIS.
- Support to the Financial Manager in matters related to audits, presentations and statistics to the Board of
Directors and Board of Trustees
- Economic analysis
- Review and documentation of economic procedures
- Preparation of Foundation Taxes

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position: 40h/week.

- Gross annual salary: (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our
Collective Agreement pay scale)
