Brand Manager Prostate and Renal Cancer
In the Genitourinary area, Pfizer Oncology is focused in Renal and Prostate cancer, involving an inline product in renal cell carcinoma together with a promising pipeline in prostate and urothelial cancer. On this basis, the marketing team is looking for a Brand Manager that leads the strategy and implementation of key projects for the area.
Role purpose
- Responsible for leading the execution and roll out of the strategical and tactical plan based on the country specific customer strategies developed in line with the Global Operational Plans.
Key accountabilities
- Development and execution of the brands operational plans
- Steers the development and implementation of best-in-class customer strategies that meet business needs in the country and, which are aligned with Global strategies
- Responsible for brand’s growth and associated revenues by managing risks, identifying opportunities, and making timely decisions that maximize business potential.
- Ensures seamless integration of Global strategy into country business and involved in Global work streams and meetings as required
Customer:
- Develops customer focussed strategies/initiatives for respective tumour type(s)
- Seeks and develops customer and market insights through direct customer contact at 1:1s, meetings and congresses.
- Drives and implements compliant customer facing activities for brands (customer programs, symposia, policy, PR and ad boards) which are aligned with local customer needs and marketplace insights. Identifies relevant opinion leaders, medical societies, cooperative and study groups and uses this core stakeholder group to form the basis of local strategic and tactical initiatives.
Resource allocation:
- Accountable for the planning, spending, and controlling local budget as agreed for areas of responsibility
- Demonstrate compliant use of financial systems and processes
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience
- Degree level qualification in marketing or business with a proven track record in science or medical; science or medical background with proven business acumen
- Minimum level of three years pharmaceutical experience in sales, medical or marketing
- Oncology/Hospital expertise will be valuable
- Ability to develop customer value proposition and messaging to drive brand revenues
- Proven record in project management and delivering on budget and time, including knowledge of country implementation costs.
- Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate amongst key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs and fulfilling expectations.
- Works towards common goals by supporting, encouraging and sharing information with colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal skills required as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
