Production Group or Line Manager

The selected person will be temporary shopfloor manager for the empennage area at Tablada and eventually San Pablo FAL onsite support.

He/She need a previous experience of 3 years in similar positions, managing a team of workers and together in a multifunctional team with the support of quality and manufacturing engineering.

The responsibilities are as follows:
A. Management of the assembly line, guaranteeing production results (safety, quality, cost, deliveries and people).
B. Improve customer satisfaction by fulfilling their expectations.
C. Efficient production management and people engagement ensuring Lean manufacturing actions/improvements are delivered under the requirements of
quality, cost and lead time.
D. Guarantee the implementation of regulations in terms of Environment, Health & Safety and Labour Legislation.
Activities:
A. Organize and manage people and works at an aerostructure assembly line in PreFALTablada
B.Manage the means, material and human resources available to deliver to our costumer on time, on quality and on cost, by means of:
a. Efficient management of the Production
b. Coordinating operationally all production lines, all the support departments such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, MRB, Lean
Manufacturing, Tooling, Logistic, and the different teams working on the area.
c. Leading and developing Lean Manufacturing/OES concepts on the area and promote continuous improvements to optimize the production processes
ensuring the production targets are reached
d. Handle workshop management and operator teams
C.The jobholder monitors with adequate frequency the production status of the area on:
a.Evolution of the production lines (Leading N2 SQCDP panel and participating in N3 SQCDP panel)
b.Work progress and resources capability
c.Lean actions status
D. Ensure the availability of parts and productive means needed for the assembly line.
E. Coordinate and follow-up our main subcontractors onsite, focusing all the externalized operations and support in reparations are performed on the basis
of cost, quality and lead time.
F. Determine resources needs and ensures level of competences and skills in adequacy with the workload to be achieved. Manage skills development for
personnel, suggesting training programs and career development actions
G. Set up participation, communication and motivation actions for the teams working on the area
H. Ensure the management and the control of the production area in the respect of the rules and procedures applicable of Quality, Health & Safety and
Environment, and FOD.
I. Establish a clear and efficient way of working recognized by the entire team, promoting the Airbus tools and way forward
J. During FAL Support he/she will be the focal point of Tablada plant to support FAL to solve any issue affecting our aerostructures.
