**About the Role**:We are looking for a Senior SAP S/4 HANA Materials Management & Ariba Expert (f/m/d) to join our SAP Center of Excellence Source-to-Pay team. In this role, you will act as an SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide foundational support to stand up and continuously improve SAP Material Management and Ariba Functions in a global enterprise IT environment. You will also be a key player in upskilling current team members in SAP best practices.

This position will be located at our facility in Barcelona (Spain), Putzbrunn near Munich (Germany) or Livingston (United Kingdom) with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with internal clients (associates) to gather business requirements in the area of Procure to Pay and propose the best SAP solution as per industry best practices
- Design, configure, and implement the SAP S/4 HANA Materials Management module using the SAP Activate methodology with specific focus on Source to Pay
- Leverage your hands on configuration knowledge to upskill others and teach standard, out of the box functionality to other team members
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance as part of an SAP CoE team, addressing issues, performing system updates, and ensuring system stability
- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the functionality and performance of the solution
- Stay updated with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices to continuously improve SAP solutions and provide recommendations to clients

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years working experience with SAP software within an international environment
- Proven experience as an SAP S/4 HANA functional expert or consultant, with specific focus on Source to Pay in materials management
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP Ariba including procurement, sourcing, contracts, supplier management, and invoicing etc
- Strong understanding of business processes within the areas of Source to Pay
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing the SAP S/4 HANA MM module, including master data setup, purchase order processing, invoicing, purchase requisitions, PIR’s, source list, goods receipt, cost rolls, mass updates etc
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAP Materials Management and adjacent areas
- Experience in large scale, complex SAP S/4 HANA implementations and sustainment (multi-region, multi-industry)
- Ability to debug/ analyze issue when needed and provide a solution approach

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously
- SAP certification in relevant modules, such as SAP Materials Management (MM) with specific focus on Source to Pay and SAP Ariba, is highly desirable
- Industry knowledge in one or more of the following areas and their footprint in SAP: Discrete manufacturing, Consumer goods, Medical Devices, Chemicals
