In **Getronics** we would like to join our team a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst. You will be a part of a SOC team who protects our own organization as well as our customers from cyber-attacks through the provision of a range of services including: SIEM-based monitoring and Response, NetworkManaged Detection and Response, Vulnerability management,, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident and Assurance services. The SOC is part of and works closely with the Global Security and Compliance team.
**Skills you need**
- Experience with Windows and Linux, preferably as an administrator. Must be able to currently interpret, understand or search for the right meaning of host logs.
- Technical understanding of network fundamentals, common Internet protocols and network logs.
- Technical understanding of the information security threat landscape (attack vectors and tools, best practices for securing systems and networks) and appetite to learn about it.
- Knowledge in regards to security systems to identify and respond to potential security threats.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identification of attacks from internal and external sources.
- Triaging and analysis of detected events.
- Acting as 1st line point of contact for detected and reported security events.
- Review events, including mail notification or calls, escalation of these events if needed and collaborate in the response and post incident review.
- Deliver recommendations and actions to improve the detection, escalation, containment and resolution of data security incidents.
- Detect opportunities for improving current procedures and processes, suggesting documentation, automation or other available means if needed.
- Assist in supporting processes such as vulnerability scanning, firewall assurance, threat hunting, incident handling and more.
