- Mechanical Project Engineer of the Engineering Department of Ursa HQ, with mastery of mechanical design and structural calculation.- Responsibilities and Main Tasks:
- Mechanical design of machines, in particular, machines which producing glass wool (cor technology)
- Monitoring and supervision in the workshop, the construction and adjustment of the glass wool production machines.
- Design of the lay-out of the production process and harmonization with buildings, platforms and structures.
- Basic design (desirable with structural calculation) of platforms and accesses.
- Design of the refractory of the glass melting furnaces.
- Development of all possible phases of a project.
- Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed and implanted in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
**Background & Experience**
- a) Background / Education:
- Mechanical engineering or relevant field.
- High level of design in 3D CAD (mandatory)
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Other complementary training will be valued (structural calculation..)
- b) Professional Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in similar role.
- c) Other skills:
- Proactive and focused on results in a very demanding industrial environment
- Strong data analysis, systematic, and well organized
- Good collaboration and communication skills within dynamic and diverse organizations
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
**Language Requirements**
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Other languages are a plus.
- Availability for Travel Requirements- Available to travel and working in plants around 30-40% of working time.
- Rest of the time the position is in El Pla (Tarragona)
