**The Role**

In this highly visible and strategic Services leadership role, you will be responsible for creating the implementation approach for Veeva Link Medical Insights in Europe.

Link Medical Insights enables medical teams to capture and analyze field insights and uncover key trends requiring strategic action.

You will play an active role in managing and supporting early adopters and use that knowledge to build a blueprint for future customer implementations as we move to general availability.

You will be independently responsible for building a team of successful project managers. These project managers will be in client-facing roles managing the successful implementation of Link Medical Insights with our customers with EU presence.

You will be laser-focused on customer success and building scalable processes that ensure an efficient and effective rollout of our software and data services. You will be an influential people manager with excellent managerial experience and have the flexibility and autonomy to make the right strategic decisions. **What You’ll Do**
- Define the optimal process of implementation for Link Medical Insights in Europe. This includes activities such as:

- Deeply understanding customers’ challenges with collecting and actioning medical insights
- Mapping out the value of the Link Medical Insights product with different roles with a medical team
- Defining customers’ KPIs
- Managing processes for customer feedback
- Support creating standardized and efficient approaches to rapid roll-out
- Managing data privacy & compliance workflows with support from our legal team
- Drive an impactful change management process for end users
- Quantifying and tracking the adoption and value of the product with our customers
- You will communicate that knowledge to your team and guide them on how to be effective project managers as they take on the end-to-end management of individual companies
- Drive and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders to support medical and commercial teams
- Be the go-to expert for all services questions regarding Link Medical Insights
- Run effective career development plans for your team, providing actionable and appropriate feedback
- Deploy methods to quantify the value that your team will bring to the customer
- Be accountable for the services and success of your team
- Action administrative tasks such as approving your team’s billable time with customers and building high-level collateral describing the value of the team
- Make decisions on staffing and allocation to address the project pipeline
- Work closely in a matrix organization with other practice leaders in Services and with different teams at Veeva (sales, product, strategy, and insights teams)

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of the operational structure and roles in the pharmaceutical industry, especially medical business operations such as the work of a Medical Science Liaison, medical leadership, and medical operations
- Knowledge of key stakeholders at pharmaceutical companies
- 7+ years experience in managing, structuring, and successfully executing complex projects, including change management
- Leadership experience, including line management experience and hiring
- Confidence in managing senior stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability and comfort in building a team and processes from scratch
- Comfort and confidence in setting your strategy and direction and being responsible for the success of your team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel
- Talent and desire for customer-facing activities

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with pharma software and large-scale implementations
- Working in the field at a pharmaceutical company
- Using CRM systems
- Navigating through data privacy and KPI definition
