We are looking for a** Design Engineering Manager**, to be based in **Spain**. This role is a remote position, which will manage a small team of expert colleagues in designing and delivering sustainable water solutions for our industrial customers in Spain and beyond
**What you'll do**
- Manage a team of Principal Engineers, that are dedicated to developing new “Ecolab Water for Climate” solutions for our customers.
- Work within the team to ideate, design and approve technical solutions unique to help address water use challenges at our industrial customers’ sites
- Lead process design of a water treatment process technologies (Membrane technologies, Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, MBR, etc..) and possibly wastewater technologies (DAF, flocculation, Biological treatment)
- In this role you’ll work closely with our customers, practical knowledge of industrial water management and site / process engineering would be helpful.
**What you'll need**:
- Masters in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in water treatment membrane based technologies Design, Construction, Commissioning and start-up (RO, UF, NF, EDI, MBR)
- Experience with main wastewater treatment technologies (Chemical-physical. DAF, Biological treatment, MMF, sludge dewatering)
- Knowledge of engineering documents necessary to develop water treatment plants such as P&ID, PFD, mass balance, Piping Drawings, Isometrics, wiring diagram, Logic Diagram, Control Narrative
- Fluency in English and Spanish, other languages are beneficial
- Ability to lead in ambiguity, to see a vision and help your team work towards this goal
