As vidIQ is growing so rapidly, we are looking for a Producer, who would be capable of growing the company’s channel. This role is for someone who is capable of properly managing the creative process, who is deeply ingrained in a data-driven approach for the success and results of the work, and has a proven ability to lead and take ownership. If you are **living and breathing **YouTube, have a deep understanding of the industry, the creators and the community; able to ideate on content that is for this target audience - this is YOU.

**What you will be doing**:

- Managing the content calendar for the YouTube channel
- Researching stories/topics to propose as new videos
- Writing scripts to support our team of creators
- Keeping an eye on trends and analytics
- Creating workflow documentation detailing the structure & process
- Managing the technical side of the creative process

**What kinds of skills you need for the role**:

- Understanding of YouTube and the creator ecosystem and have passion for YouTube and content creation
- Understanding of trends and tactics involved in achieving the best video retention possible
- Experience with multiple content platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram preferred
- Ability to work on multiple projects and pitches, solve problems and maintain deadlines
- Comfortable working in Asana, Notion, or other similar productivity apps
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

**Key skills to be successful at this role**:
**Conceptualization** - Brainstorm potential ideas, titles and thumbnails for upcoming videos

**Researching** - scout the YouTube community for news, product updates, data stories, drama and summarize what these mean for creators, viewers, advertisers, stakeholders

**Storytelling** - Craft the above discoveries into stories that make our community care. How will we hook someone with a Title, thumbnail and 15 seconds of a video hook?

**Pitching** - Ideate video and livestream concepts and pitch to talent and other producers, clearly articulating the details of each project

**Writing** - Transform story ideas into the basis of a script and/or scenes that establish, explore and resolve the story we intend to present to our audience through video content

**Collaborating** - Work with video and content stakeholders to develop authentic, and engaging articles, presentations and stories.

**Managing** - Hold stakeholders of the proposed content to account through establishing deadlines, work completion expectations, review oversight.

**Improving**:

- Stay aware of content performance and use feedback to optimize future video content for the greatest impact
