Beckman Coulter Diagnostics **Field Service Engineers** provide excellent support to our customers while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospitals and stand-alone laboratory environments. You'll be the face of Beckman Coulter to customers and support them, directly impacting patient health and overall well-being.

The FSE operates independently within their geographic territory, however we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor, and receive expert technical support. You'll be classified as a remote worker and be provided with a company car, mobile phone and laptop. You will be required to travel within the region to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays as needed.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team. This is supported with a clear Development Pathway program as part our culture to develop and grow our teams
- Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in keys projects to deliver successful installations for our customers that meet their requirements and that of our company
- Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment
- Support laboratory systems in the field of clinical diagnostics and automation. You'll partner with the customer not only on technical issues, but how to maximize the instrument's usage.
- Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects.
- Provide excellent and efficient support to Beckman Coulter’s customers, along with technical training
- Accompany the digital transformation and contribute your IT knowledge to installation projects and internal projects
- Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, ordering parts and adhering to cycle times
- Work closely with our sales and office staff, provide consultancy to our customers on preventive maintenance, service contracts and equipment solutions
- Develop critical approach supported by DBS tools

**Requirements of the job include**:

- University degree (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or/and validated equivalent experience.
- Hold a current valid driver’s license. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Good IT knowledge - familiar with IT infrastructure: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic medical equipment, IT repair experience in laboratory, as a Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.
