Cocktail Bartender
hace 6 meses
We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our small team at our upscale cocktail bar. The job varies widely between the pressure of being 12 tickets deep behind the bar on a Friday night to being alone on very slow days, so it's important that you can handle both the pressure of very busy nights and be able to entertain yourself on slow days when you're alone and there might not be any customers in the bar. The position is bartender/server, as the bar is very small and all employees are responsible for doing all jobs (there is no kitchen). Experience in F&B is a must and experience as a bartender is preferred.
Your schedule specifically will include closing the bar alone on Friday and Saturday nights, so reliability is the most important attribute you can have.
The working language is English, so being able to communicate comfortably in English is vital, and a level of at least B2 in Spanish is required.
The hours of the bar are:
Thursday 17:00-00:00
Friday 17:00-01:30
Saturday 17:00-01:30
Sunday 17:00-00:00
and YOUR HOURS WILL BE:
Friday 19:00-03:00
Saturday 19:00-03:00
This means a minimum 16 hours a week, but you will often be scheduled more hours when we are busy or when one of the other employees takes vacation. You must have availability during any of our opening hours. You must also be available to work during Fallas.
The position pays €9 an hour with the addition of a profit sharing system where the employees share 10% of the net profits each night. Payroll is done weekly and you will be paid every Tuesday for the hours that you worked that week + profit sharing + tips.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: 9.00€ per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
Application Question(s):
- Do you have authorization to work in Spain?
- How long would your commute be to C/ Lepant 4?
