As a Senior Security Engineer at B. Braun, you will lead the charge in securing embedded and medical devices and ensure they meet industry standards. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will support and consult our product teams in effective and efficient implementation of security technology and mitigations. Be a part of our Product Security Office team at B. Braun SE that is making a difference in the healthcare industry.

**Obligaciones y responsabilidades**:

- You lead security efforts for embedded and medical devices, and work with development teams to ensure security
- You ensure all devices meet industry standards and regulations
- You conduct security architecture reviews, identify vulnerabilities with other teams
- You provide guidance and training to development teams on security best practices
- You stay up to date with latest security threats and trends, implement measures to protect organization, participate in incident response and investigations
- You act as internal Security Subject Matter Expert at B. Braun, advocate for better security practices, drive product security decision making in a collaborative environment.
- You support and advise team members, take accountability, demonstrate self-sufficiency, maintain organization, and exhibit a hands-on approach.

**Competencias profesionales**:

- You have a degree in engineering with a specialization in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification with at least 3 years of experience in Embedded Devices, Medical Devices or Cyber Security
- You have experience in software development for embedded systems, RTOS and HW Security, as well as software verification and validation. Ideally, you have relevant practice with Publik Key Infrastructure (PKI), and communication protocols.
- You are passionate about embedded systems as well as complex software development.
- You have ideally a relevant embedded systems security certification (e.g., CESSP, CISSP, CGEIT, GCED, CGEIT,
- CIoTSP)

**Competencias personales**:

- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with a level of B2 or higher. Ideally, you also have proficiency in
- speaking German.
- You have a strong sense of initiative as well as an independent and responsible way of working
- You are an innovative, unconventional thinker and team player with professional collaboration skills
