Bexe Manager

We are currently looking for a Business Excellence Manager within our Food Packaging division. The main purpose of this role is to lead and coordinate Continuous Improvement with Lean Six Sigma concepts. This role will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for 2 sites - Santo Tirso (Portugal) or Girona (Spain).

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
Lead the rollout of Strategic operational excellence initiatives at the Sites (e.g. TPM, Management for Daily Improvement, SPC).

Deliver the yearly Saving Targets (~2% of Production Costs).

Drive opportunities (e.g. efficiency, material balance, yield) for improvement with local teams conducting pilot lines, standardizing and ensuring data quality, mentoring of Six Sigma & Lean projects, following up CI projects and initiatives supporting complex data analysis.

Implement an aligned Operational Excellence approach in close cooperation with the Segment BEX Manager (trainings, project management, project follow up, OEE audits,).

Identify, provide and coach people to Yellow Belt and Green Belt training.

Responsible for the development of CI across operational team via projects

Will influence Manufacturing Strategy for the sites

Functional knowledge and technical skills within own and other areas:
Previous experience of production processes essential

Technical process skills and understanding of production capabilities

Good knowledge of Continuous Improvement Techniques and processes

Capability to work in a multi-cultural environment and to manage people.

Hand-on approach.

Problem solving skills as well as focus on deliverables.

**Educational requirements/qualifications and experience**:
Educated to degree level in Engineering or similar.

Lean Six Sigma Black belt qualified.

5-10 years relevant experience in operations

Project management.

Strong analytical and data management skills.

Fluent in oral and written Portuguese and English. Spanish would be a plus
