**Description**

**FUND ACCOUNTANT**

You will become part of a team of lawyers, accountants and secretarial support that manages a Portfolio of client companies.

You will be based in Madrid, yet you would form a part of an international team servicing Luxembourg fund portfolios.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Maintaining accounting books and timelines of a portfolio of allocated clients;

Timely and accurate processing / reconciling of all fund transactions;

Preparation of NAV calculations and investor capital account statements;

Management Reporting and Statutory Reporting of corporate entities to ensure the team complies with all of its accounting and regulatory obligations and requirements including listing requirements and client reporting;

Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively;

Preparation of Financial Statements, assisting the external auditors to ensure the audit function is executed on a timely and efficient basis.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Degree from a business school in Accounting and Finance;

Good knowledge of alternative fund structures / asset classes (i.e. real estate, private equity, private debt);

Proficient in MS Excel, structural and detail orientated;

Good analytical and problem-solving skills;

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;

Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines;

Excellent communication and organizational skills;

Fluent speaking and writing in English, German would be an asset.
