**Associate Director, Solution Delivery Product Owner**

**Location - Barcelona**

**Introduction to role**:
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of biopharmaceuticals? As an R&D Data Find Product Owner (Solution Delivery Associate Director), you will be a key player in our Product management team. Your main goal? To help our researchers find R&D datasets crucial to delivering life-changing medicines. You will coordinate the delivery and implementation of products to support three of our main core capabilities: "Find data", "Catalogue data", and "Govern data". All the core components will enable downstream access to data where the true value can be unlocked to bring new medicines to patients. This is your chance to explore and innovate in our dynamic environment

**Accountabilities**:
You will be responsible for pioneering new capabilities, leading end-to-end initiatives from inception to deployment and implementation, and management of ongoing of products and projects supporting the delivery of solutions to support our service capabilities and product functionality. This includes active management of the product backlog, defining product roadmaps, and prioritizing product functionality and requirements. You will also lead team members by engaging with technical teams to coordinate the implementation of product requirements. Additionally, you will lead the research, identification, and proposals of solutions and projects to improve the performance and quality of our products and services. Collaborating with key partners within the R&D Data Office as well as directly with therapeutic area customers is essential to define and prioritize requirements, as well as promoting and showcasing products, product capabilities, and product plans will also be part of your role.

**Essential Skills/Experience**:

- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in relevant positions (product and technical) leading the coordination of products for services supporting data findability, cataloguing and governance
- Minimum 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry relating to data management.
- At least 5+ experience managing and coordinating projects, people and products
- At least 5+ years experience with business process modelling notation (BPMN)
- At least 5+ years experience with regulatory standards as well as data quality and data governance guidelines such as GxP and GDPR.
- Good understanding of biomedical sciences and R&D data (clinical study data, imaging data, omics data, real world data,...)
- Experience in designing and management of metadata catalogues, platforms or registries meant to help users to find, search, discover and explore research data
- Experience with direct customer contact to drive user experience capabilities, including running user group sessions for collecting requirements and evaluating how to improve products usability
- Experience working and collaborating with biomedical researchers on data management
- Good knowledge and experience with best methodologies and frameworks supporting project management and efficiency

**Desirable Skills/Experience**:

- Experience from Pharma industry working directly with patient data
- Previous experience developing software, using APIs, workflow management systems and managing databases
- Understanding technologies such as Collibra, BigId, SnapLogic, Snowflake, Immuta and Starburst used in AstraZeneca to support data findability, data cataloguing and governing data
- Understanding of technologies such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365
