We are looking for a person to join the Design and Technical Services Corporate Team and supporting in relation with HLP (Energy&Water) and Engineering. That comprises CAPEX and OPEX, by managing daily responsibilities on Energy, in direct contact with consultants and utilities in the main markets (Europe), preparing information for decision makers about awarding and hedging strategies, jointly with recommendations by consultants, and provide support to the Engineering & Maintenance Director, regarding Energy Savings in the hotels, including follow up of Action Plans.

Finally, as part of the sustainability strategy, the analysis of different solutions for energy savings, will be another important commitment.

It is a great opportunity to develop multidisciplinary skills & experience in hospitality projects, with different stakeholders.

**Functions of the role**:

- Managing daily responsibilities on Energy, in direct contact with consultants and utilities in the main markets (Europe). Follow up on energy trends in Europe, in order to react to the changes in the markets.
- Preparing information for decision makers about awarding and hedging strategies, jointly with recommendations by consultants.
- Supporting hotels with admin process with the signing of contracts with the utilities.
- Provide support to the Engineering & Maintenance Director, regarding Energy Savings in the hotels, follow up of Action Plans with the properties, focusing on leased/managed hotels, including evaluation of projects, implementation and consumption follow up.
- Provide support to the Engineering Department regarding the implementation of the Responsible Business Strategy in the buildings for becoming neutral carbon by 2050.
- Provide support to the Engineering & Maintenance Director, and Area Engineering Directors related to maintenance and energy efficiency Capex Process (Planning, implementation, reporting).
- Maintain reporting and filing formats: Weekly energy reports, keeping update database for Energy status (contracts, expiry dates, hedging, ), regular reporting to VP.
- Updating on Energy Saving Technologies, evaluating options and feasibilities.
- Engineering on Building installations.
- Coordinate information coming from hotels
- Experience in Energy Management
- Experience in building installations
- Cost controlling skills
- Work independently and remotely for short periods
- Fluent knowledge of English (C2), verbally and in writing. Written English is at reporting level
- Other languages like German or French are a plus
- Knowledge of reporting processes and following up processes
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Autocad and Microsoft Office Products
