Join Axpo Iberia as a Short-Term Quantitative Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in analyzing data within the Energy Management department. This position is instrumental in developing models, reports, and ad-hoc analyses to maximize value and generate additional P&L for the Short-Term Trading team.
**What you will do**:
- Understand the data structure used in the Energy Management department
- Develop strategies based on these recommendations to create value in various markets
- Be responsible for model monitoring, validation, and production of results
- Interact with various departments within the area and the company
**What you bring & who you are**:
- University Degree in quantitative finance or equivalent (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Physics)
- Programming skills for prototyping and ad-hoc solutions, especially in Python and SQL
- Quick learner with the ability to efficiently solve problems
- Team player with excellent communication and self-management skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English
