**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**
We, at Flywire, are seeking a SOX Manager to manage our internal Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) program. The role requires strong project management skills and knowledge of SOX.
- Plan and manage all aspects of the SOX Program
- Manages internal control documentation and performs management duties, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, reviewing and following up on the work of team members
- Interact with key finance and business stakeholders
- Maintain controls, narratives, test plans, and risk matrices in FloQast
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and control owners for controls testing and process walkthroughs to streamline impact on the business and align test results and yield efficiencies.
- Coordinate with the control owners to identity and document control changes
- Drive compliance to ensure organization completes it monthly, quarterly and annual controls
- Lead and manage various SOX meetings e.g. SOX working team, SOX Steering Group and other SOX meetings as required
- Working closely with the IT and Security Compliance teams to ensure IT General Control and documentation and monitoring programs are consistent with SOX requirements.
- Continuously improve the SOX program to become more efficient and effective through optimization and automation.
- Support internal financial projects as and when required
**Qualifications**:
**Here’s What We’re Looking For**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or Information Technology
- 3-4 years of experience as a project manager
- Strong project management, time management and organization skills
- Experience supporting finance projects or financial systems initiatives preferred.
- Experience maintaining a SOX compliance and internal controls program is a plus.
- Experience with the following systems is a plus: FloQast, Netsuite
- Excellent understanding of Finance/Accounting processes
- Collaborative, quick learner, team player and good under pressure, ability to multi-tasking and participate in various projects/process improvement
- Ability to prioritize and drive results in a deadline driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively challenge and influence
- Fluent in English
