At Kantox, we are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our amazing finance team and hold an important role in the organisation

About the team

The finance team is very flexible and energetic. We work closely with other teams at the same time as we contribute to the company’s growth and scalability: optimising our systems, policies and processes, ensuring the accuracy and control of the information, adapting our financial accounting and reporting, developing business plans to help in the decision making and to anticipate risks and opportunities, etc.

We are a very united team, cooperative with each other, looking for excellence in everything we do, focusing on the digitalization and optimization of our tasks, aiming to bring the finance department to another level and becoming a key business partner for the organisation. Our team consists of:

- Maria Chamorro - CFO
- Laura Blázquez - Controlling Manager
- Ruben Hoskens - Financial Controller
- Caterina Gomez - Senior Accountant (AR, Accounting)
- Belén Vergara - Senior Accountant (AP, Collections)
- Julia Van Ee - Finance Assistant
- Lola Cimarra - Accounting Specialist

**Your mission within Kantox**

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (invoicing, payments, reconciliations, taxes )
- Oversee and optimise the month end close process
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements (IFRS, UK and Spanish GAAP)
- Optimise and manage the company's financial accounting and reporting system (Netsuite)
- Lead and oversee the annual statutory audit process
- Lead and mentor a team of 4 people

**Who you are**
- 4+ years proven working experience as Accounting Manager or similar roles
- Analytical thinker with strong decision making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluent level of English and Spanish
- Strong communication skills
- Organised and eager to learn
- Proactive, team player, hands on and getting things done
- Advanced MS Office Skills (excel, power point)
- Degree in Accounting or Business-related
