- Your Responsibilities- Data interpretation and comprehensive reporting and communication
- Within the role you:

- Increase Genomics’ performance and improved already implemented NGS pipelines: scout, implement and/or build new pipelines using state-of-the-art software and systems.
- Expand Genomics scope in ADM: new Genomic targets and data integration (clinical, omics, etc)
- Work transversally with ADM teams and external experts in the field on study design, analysis, and interpretation of preclinical and clinical data.
- Communicate the results to internal teams and external partners.
- Lead peer reviewed scientific publications, scientific communications, and patents.

Employ best-practices for source control, statistical accuracy, documentation, and reproducibility.
- You have
- PhD in Biological Sciences (Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology) or equivalent
- Graduate/postgraduate education in: i) data science: Scripting (R, Python, etc), data analysis (data retrieving and manipulation from public repositories, building and analysis datasets, machine learning), ii) statistical models for reproducible data science.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken, any other language a plus
- At least 5 years of proven experience - ideally as postgraduate work in bioinformatics and/or biostatistics.
- Experience in analysing and integrating Microbiome-based datasets.
- Development and/or implementation of methodologies and tools.
- Experience with high-performance computing environment.
- Experience in Microbial systems modelling
- Experience in project management.
- Team-work and know-how transfer capacity
- Organizational, attention to detail and open mindset.
- Proactive, creative, problem solving and critical thinking
- Ability to simultaneously manage and execute multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
