DESCRIPTION
In particular, the TODENZE project (OPENING THE PATHWAY TOWARDS DENDRITIC ZEOLITES), a European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant H2020-EU.1.1. - EXCELLENT SCIENCE (Grant agreement ID: 101021502), aims the development of dendritic zeolites and their use as catalysts for biomass valorisation and as nanocarriers for combined drug and gene therapies.
Tasks Description:
- Revision of the state of the art of the fundamentals related to the project.
- Synthesis and characterization of zeolites and mesoporous materials.
- Exploring the viability of different synthetic procedures to obtain different zeolitic frameworks.
- Running thermochemical reactions for the valorization of wastes.
- Processing results and writing of reports.
- Dissemination and publication of research results in various journals, and both national and international congresses.
- Supervising students in internships, TFG and TFM.
REQUIREMENTS
Compulsory Requirements:
- Official M.Sc. in Chemistry related topics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent, finished in the last 5 years.
Other merits to value:
- Knowledge and experimental practice on heterogeneous catalysis.
- Knowledge and experimental practice on analytical techniques.
- Oral and written communication skills in English.
- Motivation to pursue the goals of the project.
- Motivation to pursue a PhD degree.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Work experience related to the profile of the job position.
- Knowledge of English.
- Motivation for accomplishing high-quality research.
CONDITIONS
Remuneration: Between 20.900 € - 23.300 € per year, depending upon qualification and expertise.
- The contract includes all the benefits of the Spanish Public Health and Social Security System.
- Duration of the contract: 1 year, possibility of renewal depending on performance.
